Evaluation Factors

Infrastructure Growth

अवसंरचना विकास

  • Rural Roads & Last-mile Links: PMGSY/other roads cut travel time for farm goods and school access. Example: 12-km all-weather road lifts milk collection and school attendance.
  • Highways/Metro/Transit Lines: Big links shift whole economies by saving time and fuel. Example: New metro corridor halves commute time for 3 lakh riders daily.
  • Electricity Access & Reliability: Connections matter—but so do hours and voltage. Example: Village moves from 10 random hours to 20 stable hours → SMEs grow.
  • Public Transport Fleet & Coverage: Buses feed metros; coverage decides who benefits. Example: 2,000 new buses + GPS reduces wait times and crowding.
  • Digital Connectivity (broadband/4G/5G, fiber): Internet is today’s road. Example: Fiber to gram panchayats enables tele-medicine and e-learning.
  • Sewage/Drainage/Storm-water: Prevents waterlogging and disease. Example: New storm drains stop monsoon flooding in chronic hotspots.
  • Maintenance Quality (asset upkeep): Bad maintenance kills value. Example: Timely resurfacing and bridge health monitoring prevent closures.
