An educated population is the backbone of any developed society. We assess how states support foundational literacy and numeracy, reduce dropouts, and invest in teachers and infrastructure. We also consider digital education initiatives and scholarship delivery. States that ensure girl child retention and SC/ST student inclusion are rated higher.
Evaluated through: literacy rate, dropout rates, teacher-student ratio, ASER/NAS learning outcomes, school infrastructure quality, scholarship coverage, and digital classroom access.
